Beautifully styled and photographed, a nice one to flip through, but I wasn't over the moon about any of the recipes. I'm not sure what I expected. There are a few interesting ones in there, but nothing that really makes me stop and get excited. Maybe I was hoping for something more traditional?...

This is an absolutely lovely collection of recipes mingled with personal and cultural history, both very traditional dishes and the products of the author's invention. And you know it's got to be something to get my seal of approval as a vegetarian collection ...

I tried several recipes from this book and really enjoyed them. the coconut chutney was excellent. I would consider buying this cookbook.
