Loved this book. I'm sure there are many church members who sometimes feel as though they are invisible or left out of circles of friends who have small children or for whatever reason, feel hurt and lonely within the body of Christ.
This book is full of suggested ways to become more interactive...

Distilled wisdom for personal ministry.
Don't be fooled by the size or simplicity of this slender volume. Welch has packed a lot of understanding of how people tick and how to help them into short sentences, paragraphs and chapters. Bears repeating.

Welch shares a lot of wisdom here about helping others. Nothing in the book stood out as a new insight but everything was true and a helpful reminder.
The layout and font choices were also rad.

I'm very thankful for this book and couldn'...

I was particularly blessed by the first part of the book, which reminds us of how much we need the Lord and each other. The second part was very practical, going into detail how we can ask for and offer help within the church.

Super-excellent for anyone who has any interest in counseling from the Bible on a friend-to-friend level. Welch knows people, knows the Bible, and knows how to write well.
