This book has amazing advice, it helped me a lot! I tried a few of the recipes and they were marvelous. I also loved that it had pictures of every dish!
I''d recommend this to anyone who has cast-iron pans.

True story: after my grandmother passed away, my father's siblings apparently decided to clear everything out of the house, floor to ceiling, and simply put a huge amount of stuff to the curb. My mother saw Nanny's cast-iron skillet on its way out, and snagged it, and saved it – and now I have it...

This is a nice little cookbook with both recipes and cast iron care tips. I cook with an induction burner, and cast iron is perfect for that. From the cover, I was expecting it to be all skillet recipes, but there were also recipes that would require an enameled dutch oven. There's a good number...

Wow I love this little book! I do wish it had more recipes. It includes a total of 40 and I've only made 6 or 7. The family favorite seems to be the pan s'mores! Even includes a care guide with cleaning tips. So far so good!

I bought a cast-iron skillet years ago, but I have barely used it. I've never been sure just what to do with it. I mean, you can't cook without non-stick coating, right? So I was eager to learn from this book how to use my cast-iron skillet; how to care for it.
This cookbook is slightly different...

I prefer to cook with cast iron. It is easy to clean and you have to make a real effort to burn anything with cast iron. I once thought it impossible to burn food with cast iron, but then I met my college roommate. My mom cooked with cast iron, too. She also cooked on a wood stove and cast-iron i...

I have many pieces of cast iron cookware including: three skillets, a griddle and a Dutch oven. I enjoy the ease of using them, and in recent years when issues have come to light regarding the coatings in some cookware, I have come to appreciate them even more. However, I have never purchased a c...

This is a great manual for someone who has just gotten their first piece of cast iron cookware. It does not overwhelm by being too in-depth, while still providing a nice amount of quality advice.
There is a nice range of recipes, although I would have preferred a few more than the 40ish included....
