Check out more manga and graphic novel reviews @ Perspective of a Writer...
As the third volume of a manga this volume completes the storyline started in the second and continues a new one. I have similar feelings toward it as I did for the first and second volume. THERE WILL BE REFERENCES TO PREV...

So dramatic, with touches of comedy, fantasy, a romance that gradually builds. If they ever made one, I would watch the heck out of this anime or live-action drama.

Spoilers ahead for the earlier ones. . . .
Asahi is settled into her role as a priestess. It helps that she spends three days underwater every year with the god. Her lack of voice means she can't mention it's a staring contest.
But the village has prospered, and other villages envy it. Violence and...

I also enjoy how uncluttered the panels are, in...

The art of this series is beautiful, especially as so much is conveyed through facial expressions and emotions. I have really enjoyed following the story, and am intrigued by the new direction it is taking as the water god continues his curiosity with Asahi and his desire to know her better as a...

I devoured this book in just one sitting. The story is just so addicting, and I like how well the author aged up the characters. I would have liked more interactions with the other gods, but it was nice to see some character growth in the water god. The addition of new villains will hopefully mak...

I miss the kid timeline but this one was full of surprises.
I really love the relationship of the girl and the god (because I cannot remember her name). Need more of that in the next volume. These volumes are so short!!
