This volume of Rocket Raccoon is fun, sometimes funny, but over all it is a critique of US immigration policies and Xenophobia that doesn't get preachy. I would have given it 4 Stars but there were too many jokes/references to 30+ years of Marvel comics that would be lost to a causal reader.

rocket is stranded on earth, a merry band of psychopaths are hunting aliens for sport and rocket blows someone's balls off with a grenade. kinda disappointed in this?! it felt lacking? 3/5.

They dedicate too much of this book to fighting. It was fun and exciting to see Rocket be a capable stand alone fighter but a few of the issues had more than one fight per issue. Its worse because the non fighting stuff is pretty good. The story isnt great but its treatment of the main character...
