HAHA. you think you can tell what this book is about from the blurb? no, no. the blurb of this book reminds me of Deadpool's marketing. you know the Deadpool movie poster where it makes it look like a fluffy romantic comedy and then you get in the cinema and there are people being brutally murder...

My favourite Lauren James book yet! She masters all the plot twists and the slow release of information and revelations so you never know who you can trust (just like Romy!) It felt like a very classic psychological thriller set in space while also being completely unpredictable. The setting was...

I read The Loneliest Girl in one sitting, and had an absolute blast! I feel like the marketing is half the magic, because it sets up your expectations so well, that you can only be surprised by the story! Lauren's writing is so entertaining and she handled having (practically) just one character...

I don't know what I expected - other than something excellent, of course - but my goodness, I was shocked again and again. I'm rating it 5*, when tbh it deserves its own little galaxy. Lauren is a genius, I cannot even comprehend her magnificent author/scientist brain.

HOLY WOW, BATMAN. This is not just one of the best YA novels I've read all year, but one of the best thrillers for any age. It's REALLY good, so tense I couldn't put it down and with a kicker of a payoff. I'm going to be shouting very loudly about this to anyone who'll listen - Lauren has done so...

This was not what I expected? Not even in the slightest and it was SO good. A one girl mission to stay alive in space! If you liked Illuminae, or thrillers. You NEED to check this out. THE LONLIEST GIRL IN THE UNIVERSE RELEASES ON THE 1ST OF SEPTEMBER

I read an early draft of this novel several months ago, and it completely blew me away. Here's why: 1) Romy is super relatable, and I was rooting for her the whole way. 2) There are some parts that are just so deliciously creepy. 3) This novel is basically Fangirl meets Gravity. 4) The twists! SO MA...

Wow oh wow! I loved this book so much! I feel so privileged to have the chance to read it early - thank you Walker Books for sending Amy and I the arc! (www.youtube.com/twopapergirls). I absolutely loved this book. I was gripped from the first page and wish I could've read it in one sitting. Lauren is brilliant at tension and also at making you care about the characters right from the start.

Actual rating: 4.5/5 I think I'm a little bit in shock. This is definitely a one-sitting read; it's so interesting, compelling, and engrossing you don't even realize you're flipping the pages. A well written, well constructed novel that follows Romy, and explores the psychological effects of grow...
