While I enjoyed reading this book, I didn't feel much emotion ebbing from the pages. In poetry, I'm searching for words that either make me think or make me feel. The great stuff will do a little of both.
This had some pieces that caused me to think. Others that caused me to feel. None that really...

Whiskey Words & a Shovel III by r.h. Sin is the final collection in series. Sin took the world by surprise. Little in the way of biography and a few words on each page. His talent is deconstructing the complexities of life and especially relationships into a few words. Much like pulling a mea...

Here's my confession: I did and could not finish it. It holds too many pages and the content is not promising. I have read like 1/5 or 1/4 books and it would be a torture to finish this. So, I am sorry.

I adore this book so much. It was probably one of the most relatable things I've ever read, every poem just felt so real to me.

I honestly expected a bit more.
There were some poems I really liked and resonated with my soul but my overall opinion is that I am not really impressed.

Let it bleed.
Let it heal.
And let it go." - Nikita Gill

I know that being a poet in the modern world is never easy. Everyone judges you. Your husband, your wife, your lover, your friends, your neighbours. It’s not easy to pour your heart out on paper, on the internet or in a book. Poetry books are sacred to me, I get to carry them around, fold their p...

Before I get into the meat of this book, can I just say how awesome this cover is? If I were wandering through a bookstore on a "judging a book by its cover" binge, this would be the first book I would grab.
Moving on, if you know me or follow any of my book blogging habits, you know that I'm a bi...
