Read Attack of the Jack (Goosebumps SlappyWorld, #2) Online Free - Devin and his sister Violet are visiting their Uncle Jack for the summer. He lives in an old house by the seashore. Jack was a sailor and he has collected strange and fascinating items from the sea. Exploring a back room, Devin and Violet discover a locked trunk. A pirate's chest. The trunk is wrapped in old, heavy chains and locked with a huge rusted lock. But they manage to get it open.
They lift the lid slowly-and see that it's filled with antique jack-in-the-boxes. Huh? One box is hidden under the others, covered in dust. It plays an odd unpleasant song. Up pops a very ugly, mean-looking puppet, an old pirate with a dirty red bandana over his long greasy hair, scars on his cheeks, and a beard, and one eye missing. "Thanks for letting Sailor Jack out!" he rasps, bouncing on his spring. Devin and Violet now face new and troubling questions: Will Jack return them to their uncle? Just how much is a pirate's promise worth?

One of the silliest Goosebumps, but deserves an extra star for being unique in a series that's probably 300 books by now.

I thought this book got off to a good start. I liked the setting and the cat.. but the rest was a little too over the top for me. Definitely not my favorite of Stine's, but I am looking forward to SlappyWorld #3!

Interesting story - a bit different from Stine's usual Goosebump books but in a good way. It's more of a pirate story. The audiobook is very fun to listen to.

I wasn't too big a fan of this one. The narrative itself was pretty good, but the ending just felt terribly rushed. And some loose ends from the beginning never got addressed.

The description is wrong! Don't listen to it

Bukan lagi horor sepertinya, lebih ke petualangan 😔

Starts promising. Then it just goes completely bonkers, loses its way, rushes to a strange conclusion and just ends. Really wish we could give half stars cause this is definitely a 2.5/5
