This was a pretty funny first volume to what I hope continues to be a ridiculous series full of mishaps and debauchery. I'll definitely be reading as the volumes come out. For the title being curse words, it has very little if any actual curse words though.

Imagine a bunch of Discworld characters tripping and falling through an inter-dimensional portal and winding up in present-day America.
Yeah, that's basically this book. And now you have an idea of why I just gave it 5 stars.
The plot is straightforward, but the tone slips seamlessly between real h...

What happens when an evil wizard (not Wizzard) named Wizord (no first name) lands in NYC to meet up with his rat familiar(?) Margaret?

It's all fun and games, with out of this world scenarios and clever, punchy dialogue, but Curse Words amoun...

Well, there it is.
This is really rather insane, insane and yet highly enjoyable. To my mind Margaret the talking Koala absolutely makes this book. As does the genre classification of 'fantasy, humour, koalas' wonderful.

I received a free copy of this book from Edelweiss in exchange for an honest review
Ok I will admit that I wasn't expecting much from this title when I picked it up. I mean ...he's a wizard ...named Wizord. He's from another world! He's got a staff and a ridiculous beard! Basically the only female...

I actually read this in single issues, and it is one of my favorite new series this year. Curse Words brings the awesome talents of Ryan Browne (God Hates Astronauts) back to monthly comics. While differently tonally than Browne's other works, it still works extremely well as a fun action/adventu...
