A mixed bag. 'Open The Moon' was stunningly beautiful and reminds me why Locke and Key is one of my all-time favorite pieces. 'Grindhouse' is so bad, I had trouble believing it was by the same creators. And 'In The Can' was just silly. The photos of 'The Real Lovecraft' and in the Photo Gallery c...

The six volumes of Locke & Key are my all-time favorite horror series. The marriage of Joe Hill's story and Gabriel Rodríguez's art is flawless. I may have to go revisit the series just to experience reading the entire collection again. When they released the hardcover version of Small World...

This includes two more of the Locke & Key shorts about the past of the Locke family and the Key house, and it's delightful. The two stories imply a continuity inking the past with the present, but they also tell the very human stories of the Lockes of those times. "Open the Moon" is a very st...

This was a surprise to see being released.
I absolutely loved the series some the start to the finish. In a way, I had hoped that the "Small World" story would have been included but it wasnt. Still, this short volume included stories that I did not know existed. The main reason was due to the fa...

This is a collection of short stories and esoterica from the Locke & Key world, some of which are also listed on goodreads as separate books. Here are my reviews of each of the parts:
Open the Moon - A short, sad little story that doesn't make a whole lot of sense but still works for the most...

This collection of 3 different "Locke and Key" stories is an excellent taste of what the series has in store. The stories are "Open the Moon," "Grindhouse" and "In the Can". They each show a different type of story as far as mood and genre. The opener is both sweet and sad. The follow-up is harsh...

A bit of a mixed bag, only because the stories are satisfying, but I didn't really need another art gallery, or the photo series. That being said, I would continue to read Locke and Key stories from these two guys in perpetuity.

Awesome. I love the Locke and key series. One of the best graphic novels I have ever read and so glad that Hill and Rodriguez has continued with these stories set in that same world. I hope there are more to come.

Open the Moon was the high point of this collection. While the other stories were engaging and easy to read I didn't really care about what happened in them. I did like the introduction to some new keys that I do not remember from the series.

I like the comics, but would have preferred more comics to the photos at the end. The intro to the photos even seems to be missing some text.
